Who we are
A movement, not a pop-up programme.
AI&U is a South African coding and Artificial Intelligence literacy movement established to ensure that every learner in a no-fee school has the opportunity to become a builder — not merely a consumer — of the technologies shaping their future.
The movement is structured around Ubuntu: belonging first, skill second, and community ownership as the long-term measure of success.

AI&U began with a question: if Africa is about to hold the largest, youngest workforce on earth, why are we still importing both the technology and the conversation about it?
Our answer is a movement: a curriculum brand, an NPO-in-formation, and a community-rooted ecosystem delivered through our QCTO-accredited partner.
